AlphaLeague 2026
Competition Rules

AlphaLeague 2026 is a skill-based trading competition operated by Quote.Trade. It includes separate Live and Paper divisions, each with its own starting-capital requirements, USDC-prize pool, and separate discretionary company-capital review.

• Entry into one division does not create eligibility for the other division.
• USDC-prize ranking and possible company-owned capital deployment are separate decisions.
• Registration remains open throughout the competition period, so a participant may join after competition trading begins.
• Participation, a leaderboard position, or a USDC prize does not guarantee capital deployment, compensation, employment, engagement, or an advisory relationship.
• Automated strategies, bots, APIs, and AI agents are permitted, subject to the same rules as manual traders.

AlphaLeague Paper is a no-purchase, no-deposit skill competition. Participation is void where prohibited by applicable federal, state, local, or foreign law.

The Paper Division is open only to natural persons who are at least 18 years old and the age of majority in their jurisdiction, satisfy applicable identity, sanctions, location, residency, tax, and account-status requirements, and are otherwise legally eligible to participate and receive a prize.

For purposes of these Rules, a “U.S. Participant” includes an individual who is a citizen or resident of the United States or who is physically located in the United States when entering or participating.

• U.S. Participants are eligible only for the Paper Division. The Live Division is void in the United States and is unavailable to U.S. Participants. U.S. Participants may not deposit assets to Quote.Trade, activate Live Trading, or open or hold Live positions.
• No purchase, payment, deposit, token balance, subscription, on-chain transaction, or gas payment is required to enter or win the Paper Division. Making a purchase or deposit will not improve eligibility or scoring and may make the applicable wallet ineligible for Paper Trading.
• Only one Paper Division entry and one prize-eligible Paper wallet address are permitted per person or beneficial owner. Multiple wallets, identities, nominees, or accounts may not be used to obtain additional entries or eligibility.
• A wallet address may activate Paper Trading only if it has never made or been credited with a deposit to Quote.Trade on any supported network. A prior deposit remains disqualifying after withdrawal.
• Once activated, Paper Trading is permanent for that wallet address and cannot be disabled or converted to Live Trading.
• Paper balances and transactions are simulations only. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or redeemed, and do not constitute actual purchases, sales, swaps, derivatives, or other live trading transactions.
• Employees, officers, directors, competition administrators, and contractors materially involved in operating or judging AlphaLeague, together with their immediate family and household members, are not eligible to receive a prize.

Quote.Trade may verify identity, age, residency, physical location, beneficial ownership, sanctions status, wallet history, and compliance with these Rules before confirming eligibility or awarding a prize.

All dates and times are stated in UTC. Registration remains open until the competition ends, and a participant may join at any time before that deadline. Only eligible activity recorded after that participant's entry is activated and starting-capital baseline is locked counts. Late entrants receive no time or score adjustment, but all participants are ranked on the same net percentage-return basis, with performance verified by Quote.Trade. The live leaderboard may continue to display provisional data while final verification is underway.

Live starting competition capital is recorded at entry and used as the participant's locked scoring baseline. Paper Trading may be activated only on a wallet with no Quote.Trade deposit history on any supported network. It is permanent for that wallet and cannot be disabled or converted to Live Trading. Simulated balances and profits cannot be deposited, withdrawn, transferred, or redeemed.

The primary ranking metric is net percentage return on locked starting competition capital, with performance verified by Quote.Trade. Quote.Trade calculates eligible ending equity after excluding deposits, withdrawals, credits, transfers, or other non-trading adjustments that would distort trading performance.

• Leaderboard figures are indicative until final verification by Quote.Trade is complete.
• Quote.Trade may correct pricing, position, equity, or return data affected by error, reversal, invalid activity, or a technical incident.
• If returns verified by Quote.Trade are equal at displayed precision, unrounded return ranks first; if still tied, higher eligible net profit ranks first; if still tied, the participant who first reached the final result ranks first.
• Minimum activity requirements may apply if published by Quote.Trade before the competition begins.

• Only markets designated by Quote.Trade as approved competition markets count toward AlphaLeague.
• A participant may trade manually or through the Quote.Trade app, API, bot, or AI-agent interfaces available to that account.
• Use of automation does not reduce the participant's responsibility for orders, risk controls, credentials, or compliance.
• Trades outside approved markets, outside the competition period, or in an ineligible account are excluded.
• Normal platform execution, margin, liquidation, risk, market-availability, and account rules continue to apply.

The approved market list and any minimum activity requirement shown in the trading interface or official competition notice form part of these rules.

Quote.Trade may review account, order, execution, position, transfer, device, and related integrity data to validate results. Prohibited conduct includes:

• wash trading, self-dealing, coordinated manipulation, artificial activity, or transactions lacking a bona fide trading purpose;
• using multiple accounts, nominees, related parties, or undisclosed beneficial owners to obtain an unfair advantage or additional prize eligibility;
• exploiting a bug, stale or erroneous price, system fault, latency condition, or unintended platform behavior;
• attempting to interfere with the platform, leaderboard, another participant, or the verification process;
• providing false, misleading, incomplete, or inconsistent eligibility information; or
• violating applicable law, these rules, or the Quote.Trade platform terms.

Quote.Trade may exclude affected trades, correct results, suspend eligibility, or disqualify a participant when reasonably necessary to protect competition integrity. Final standings are confirmed only after verification by Quote.Trade.

• Prizes are denominated and paid in USDC after final performance verification by Quote.Trade and successful winner verification.
• A potential winner who cannot complete required verification, is ineligible, or is disqualified forfeits the prize; Quote.Trade may award it to the next eligible participant.
• Winners are responsible for any taxes, reporting, wallet compatibility, and lawful receipt obligations that apply to them.
• Quote.Trade will communicate the claim and payment process through the participant's verified account contact method.

USDC is a digital asset and is not legal tender or a bank deposit. Its market value may fluctuate. No payment, deposit, purchase, or fee is required to claim a prize.

Quote.Trade may, in its sole discretion, independently evaluate or replicate completed Paper activity using Quote.Trade-owned funds after separate identity, jurisdiction, legal, execution, capacity, and risk review. The stated review limits are up to $50,000 for Live activity and up to $25,000 for Paper activity.

• The participant does not receive custody or control of Quote.Trade funds and has no authority to direct company orders.
• Participation or winning does not guarantee capital allocation, compensation, profit sharing, employment, engagement, or an advisory relationship.
• Any ongoing signal, compensation, profit-sharing, employment, advisory, or other commercial arrangement requires a separate written agreement and separate legal and compliance approval.
• Quote.Trade retains independent execution and risk discretion and may skip, delay, resize, hedge, close, or decline any activity it evaluates.
• Quote.Trade may select no strategy, one strategy, or multiple strategies and may deploy less than the stated maximum.

Trading risk

Live trading involves substantial risk, including loss of collateral and liquidation. Paper results are hypothetical and do not predict future results. Nothing in AlphaLeague is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice.

SIMULATED/HYPOTHETICAL RESULTS. Paper trades do not represent actual trading and may not reflect liquidity, market impact, slippage, latency, rejected fills, liquidation behavior, or execution capacity. No representation is made that live trading would achieve profits or losses similar to the results shown.

Operational changes

Quote.Trade may postpone, suspend, modify, or cancel a division when reasonably required by legal or regulatory constraints, market disruption, security or technical incidents, platform availability, force majeure, insufficient eligible participation, or competition-integrity concerns. Quote.Trade may also correct obvious errors and publish clarifications consistent with the competition's intended operation.

Material schedule or rule changes will be published on the AlphaLeague page or through an official Quote.Trade communication. Changes after the competition begins will be limited to those reasonably necessary for lawful, secure, fair, or technically sound operation.

• The Quote.Trade Privacy Policy ↗ applies to account, eligibility, location, certification, and verification information.
• If these Official Rules conflict with the Quote.Trade platform terms concerning AlphaLeague eligibility, scoring, verification, prizes, or competition administration, these Official Rules control. The platform terms continue to govern general access to and use of the platform.
• To the extent permitted by applicable law, Quote.Trade's good-faith decisions on eligibility, scoring, verification, prohibited conduct, prizes, and competition operation are final.
• If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
